Our inspiration: a unique approach to education
Phoenix Education Diversity & Inclusion Academy Ltd, is an organisation offering educational programs and support services that engage, elevate, and empower learners, with diverse educational needs - those who are 14 to 16 yrs including SEND, and 16 - 25 with an EHCP into Employment, Education and Training. We aim to reach all students needing our services but especially who are underachieving, come from hard-to-reach communities, and whose barriers to educational attainment may be compounded by out-of-school factors—from emotional and behavioural difficulties to adverse economic and social circumstances.

Our core beliefs: fostering an inclusive learning environment
PEDIA believes that equality and diversity in education means ensuring all students are treated fairly, have access to the same opportunities, and feel valued regardless of background. We create an environment that celebrates differences in race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and ability, while fostering social cohesion and inclusion.
Our work is guided by these principles:
- Equality: Treating all individuals fairly with identical opportunities to succeed.
- Diversity: Recognizing, respecting, and celebrating differences in backgrounds and perspectives.
- Inclusion: Creating a culture where every student feels they belong, are safe, and are valued.
- Ethical: Using technology responsibly and growing at a pace that guarantees quality.
- Collaborative: Working with educators, learners, parents, carers, employers, and community organizations locally, nationally, and internationally.

Our Vision
All young people are empowered through experiential education and personal development to discover and achieve their potential.
Our Mission
To engage learners with diverse needs, enabling them to achieve meaningful outcomes that elevate them into further education, training and work, while empowering them to create their own future.
Our Leadership Team
Our leadership team brings over 20 years of experience across SEND education, alternative provision, curriculum development and learner engagement, ensuring our provision is both practical for staff to deliver and impactful for learners.
PEDIA's Strategies for Implementation
- Inclusive curriculum — materials reviewed to be non-discriminatory, non-racist and non-sexist, reflecting the diversity of the student body
- Accessible learning — materials and assessments adapted for different learning styles and special educational needs
- Challenging biases — actively addressing negative attitudes, derogatory humour and stereotypes
- Representation — diverse staff and student populations, so individuals see themselves reflected in our institution
