EHCP Outcomes Mapping at PEDIA
At PEDIA, our curriculum is designed to align with and support the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes for every learner, ensuring personalized growth and development. We focus on key areas to help learners achieve their full potential.
Communication and Interaction
We support learners in developing expressive communication skills, including verbal, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and sensory methods. Our programs foster the ability to make choices and engage in shared interactions effectively.
Cognition and Learning
Our curriculum helps learners in following simple instructions, developing problem-solving skills, and generalising skills across various contexts to enhance their cognitive abilities and learning capacity.
Social, Emotional and Mental Health
We focus on empowering learners to recognise and regulate their emotions, build resilience and confidence, and develop meaningful relationships with others to support their overall well-being.
Physical and Sensory Needs
We assist learners in improving fine and gross motor skills, engaging effectively with sensory environments, and fostering independence in personal care, promoting physical development and sensory integration.
Assessment & Levels
Progress is tracked via an Individual Progress Tracker (learner name, EHCP outcomes, programme area, baseline level, termly progress, evidence type, staff comments), using RAG rating (Red, Amber, Green) and small-steps progress.
